Good first helmet
I did a great deal of research before deciding which helmet to purchase and settled with the Skyla (although I believe this model has been replaced). Giro is a respectable helmet manufacturer and I'm pleased with my choice. It's very difficult to choose a helmet based on internet ordering as you really need to try it on properly. When I measured my head with a soft tape measure I came up on the latter end of the scale of fit. I tried this helmet on in a "real" shop and was pleased to find it fitted perfectly. There is a dial on the back which is very easy to adjust and you can get a good fit. There are also easy to use clips on the straps so you can also get a neat fit around your ears. Also as another reviewer says this helmet does not look ridiculous on the head! I purchased the flowery girly one which doesn't seem to be available. I wore it for several hours on a hot summers day and it felt comfortable and not too sweaty. Would recommend but look for a good deal do not pay the...
