Giro Atmos
Like trainers, helmet brands all have a slightly different fit. So it is always worth trying on a helmet in a shop somewhere first...

I have had Giro's for about 11 years and the Atmos is the best road helmet i've had. By far...

And you get a helmet box to go with it too...

Worth every penny!

Giro Atmos
This is by far the best helmet I have ever owned. The venting is superb and lets plenty of air around you head.

The styling is top notch too, although not the most important aspect of a helmet you would prefer one that looks cool and this does. I went for the small 51-55cm in size. I normally need 56 so this should be taken into account if you are after a close fitting helmet thats not going to look oversized on your head.

The roc-loc adjustment is simple and does a great job holding it firmly in place. I have had helmets that seem to squeeze your temples but do nothing to hold the rest of the helmet onto your head. This feels like it is holding my head leaving no gaps around the top and sides that may cause discomfort after long periods of wear.

The only downside for me, was the chin strap. It adjusts well, but there is no chin rest , just a simple clip like found on a ruck sack or pouch. The ends of the strap can then become annoying, waving around...
