great style and protection
I'd been looking at the Giro Xen for a while as a few of my friends had them. Bought the wrong size at first - my head's 57.5 cm and read a few reviews where people with 58cm heads said the medium was too small, so they ended up going for the large. I went for the large initially and while it could be tightened to fit OK, it felt huge. I exchanged for the medium that I bought of Amazon and am glad I did. Great fit - nice and snug and the roc loc tightening system makes sure it feels good and firm. Also, the styling is great and it certainly feels like it would do a good job of protecting in the event of a crash. As an aside, the matt black looks brilliant. So overall, while it might seem a bit pricey (the Giro Hex is around half the price) I'd go for the Xen time and time again - the best fitting and best styled helmet I've ever tried.
