The helmet is only rated 2/5 with sharp safety scheme and is extremely noisy. For riding more than 10-15mins above 40mph ear plugs are essential otherwise you are likely to be causing hearing damage. It is impossible to listen to music while riding with this helmet as the wind noise will drown out anything else, inc. a pretty loud exhaust.

On the up side, the flip down sun visor is very easy to use with gloves, as it the main visor. It is comfortable and not too heavy and if you do wear ear plugs, it's about the same noise level as you'd expect from most helmets in this price range.

The bottom line, it's great except the noise and sharp rating.

Brilliant helmet
Brilliant helmet, I had a whoopsie a month ago and wrote off my older IS-16 but despite my head sliding a long the floor no injury was caused (wouldn't notice anyway) despite quite deep scratches on the helmet. Just bought another as I found it to be brilliant very comfortable and light compared to the helmet I did my training in! I do agree that they are quite loud but a decent pair of head phones soon solves that problem and it's
