Saw the negative review of this bike and had to have my say .

Had my ankle fused so wasn't sure if too sure how far I would be able to cycle .Hence my decision to get an electric bike .Ive really enjoyed getting back on the road again .Must say the bike is great ,I'm glad I went for the most powerful battery as its very hilly where I live .I use the battery power on the steeper hills .As for the
the comment about not being able to pedal the bike because of the weight ,I would ignore it .Ive never had a problem .The service from the shop has been excellent .
This is a marvelous way to increase your fitness levels ,when the going gets tough just whack on the power
and with pedal assist you will climb any hill ( took mine to Cornwall and was undefeated )

Fragile with lousy manufacturer support.
I bought this bike for a 30 mile round trip commute over Dartmoor, and initially this bike seemed to be perfect. It was powerful on the steep bits, stable and easy to ride, even carrying heavy gear.

Unfortunately, things started going wrong with it after the first month or so.

The bearings in the front wheel cracked and had to be replaced. This was after a month of travelling over terrain no more extreme than a gravel path.

While fixing this it was noticed that the front brake was jammed too close to the spokes, and they had to be replaced.

A month or two later the motor suddenly started making a ghastly noise, and losing almost all power. Eventually the whole rear wheel was replaced.

When I got it home after this replacement I noticed that the speed controller no longer worked. Even with it effectively off one would still travel with the maximum boost. This means using up the battery at the maximum rate, so much so that I would...
