Great all-rounder on/outside trails and
I was getting too many flats with Kenda Nevegal 2.1 so i decided to move to 2.25 Ardent!

I ride a lot in rocky trails it wears a little on sides but overall lifetime is super - 2 seasons on real wheel, front is still in use - i expect 3 seasons).

Apart from rocky trails i ride quite a lot on roads, I can say it's fast and again lifetime is great.

Enjoy it as I do!

kevlar?
Bought these tyres to cope with winter mud and the combination of stone chips and hedge trimmings that coat the roads at this time of year. The tyres seem ok off-road though not as good in slippery mud as I had hoped but my larger concern is of three punctures in four rides. I use kevlar-protected road tyres and puncture rate is very very low; these tyres have 'kevlar' printed on them whereas the Maxxis, although billed on the site as 'kevlar', carry no such claim and neither does the packaging...just makes me wonder if they do have kevlar protection.
