Cute, but compromised
A well made little bag, but only the size of a small handbag. I was expecting something slightly larger, soplease make a note of how small it is.

Added to that, the big plastic bracket on the back takes up a significant amount of interior space. It's also mounted too high up, so there is a danger of the bag touching the front wheel on Dahons. Better to use it with the Dahon luggage truss than the Klickfix truss.

Bag great- fixing poor
When the bag arrived I was happy about the quality but when I saw the holder I was in great doubt that it will be possible to fix it to my handlebar. It was made of hard plastic!? and looked brittle already! it broke immediately without me even opening the bracket much. my handlebar was smaller then the suggested size so should have been no problem- i have a feeling that it had been stored for a while and the plastic got brittle but will never know. Having said all this I wrote directly to Basil- their contacts were in the manual and they replaced free of charge with a better holder made of metal. The bag is great so if you go for it make sure you buy it separately to the holder if possible or calculate the cost of a new one in.

A good Bag but inadequate supply of fittings
I bought this bag for an end to end ride and when it arrived the handlebar fittings were too small for my bike. When I enquired with the supplier I was told that "this is what comes with the bike and we don't have any others" so I was obliged to purchase larger clips from another supplier, including as hefty delivery surcharge because I needed them urgewntly. As many bikes have larger diameter handlebars I would have thought that the manufacturers and suppliers could easily provide both sizes for the minimal cost involved. Otherwise, the bag is satisfactory although the zips tend to remain stiff and the flap on the rim is a bit mean in size. The side and front pockets are very useful.

We have already done the research and spent lots of time to get the most beneficialoffer for you. Whenever you are still in doubt, you can find anything they think about Knog The Leading Dog Handlebar Water Resistant Cycling Bike Bag Stone.

At first seemed like a Good Idea
Ok so dont want my bag snatched from the front of my bike basket thought this would be great and bought and the attachment.

The BAG - Great plently room, waterproof cover and lots of nooks to put stuff in. Lightish even with the built on Universal hub. But...

The ATTACHMENT - Necessary if you want to fix to the bike. it is meant for the handlebar but can be used on rear panniers. But you have to remove the entire package everytime you leave bike if you dont want the attachement pinched/stolen. So this means putting it into the bag, thereby taking up valuable room hmmm.

I think it is a little pricey but look around they are not selling very well and many places are discounting them now and the prices are being slashed.

I liked this initially but got fed up taking the attachment off every time so... back to the drawing board...
