Top quality pedals
I absolutely love these pedals! They beat the DMR V8s hands down, which at this price point are their main rival. Unlike the V8s, the Slim Jims have replaceable pins, and also comes with some spares too, which is handy. They're also, as the name suggests, nice and slim, which I prefer (the V8s always felt too boxy for my liking, but maybe they just didn't suit my style of riding).

In use, the Slim Jims give all the grip you'll ever need - I think you can also buy longer pins for them if you still need more grip. They spin nicely (I have the standard bearing version, not sealed). Too early to comment on how long they'll last yet, but time will tell.

Highly recommended - I'd buy another pair of these tomorrow without hesitation!
