First time aerobar user
Let's be clear: at 53 I'm still a bit of a speed freak and have no shame imposing my Lycra-clad body on the public, so adding something like this to my bike was never going to be much of a problem. Having originally trained as an engineer (electronic, but hey, it's a mind-set, folks) I can appreciate the thought that has gone into this design. The range of adjustment is tremendous and I particularly liked the fact that every screw came lightly greased - it's a little thing, but it's this sort of approach which gives me confidence that there's been no built-in obsolescent to the components. There are cheaper aerobars out there, but bitter experience has shown me that it's usually better to pay a bit more initially - it pays off in the long run. Oh, and the consequence of using them? 10% improvement on time over same distance for yesterday. As they say: smashed it up!

Shocking quality
1. Did not fit handlebars no matter what I tried.
2. Takes an age to fit: you wont be taking them off in a hurry.
3. Poor quality screws cant be overtightened, at least on my set.
4. Returned to Amazon and will avoid in future.
